1950s Villa, Mougins

A 1950s villa, totally refurbished whilst keeping the original building’s simple lines and elegant proportions. Interior spaces flow from one to the next, with sliding doors and easy access to the pool and terrace.

This beautiful example of 50s architecture, abandoned for years, had to be completely renovated as it had not been touched for decades. Our client gave us carte blanche and the result retained the feel of the original while bringing the whole up to date. We added a porch over the front door and improved the views through the building. Removing a cypress hedge confirmed what I had suspected, the property has superb sea views towards the Esterel, completely hidden for years! The gardens with their massive old olive trees were completely renovated too as was the pool.
